Name: Ashley Gender: Female
Interests: I love to create anything...just ask my hubby of three years. I love to spend time with him and am *very* cranky when I can't. I love to travel- so far I have been to Brazil, England, Paris, California, Georgia, much of the Texas Hill Country, NYC, D.C., and a few places in Maryland. I love to see anything new, although I can't wait to move back home, to Fort Worth. I love to read pretty much anything. I love Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's, Kiera Knightly in Pride and Prejudice, and Emma Thompson in Love Actually. I will watch any romantic movie out there, even if it's cheesy and lame. Did I mention I love my hubby? Expertise: Russian. Ask me any grammar question about Russian and I will know. I am the Grammar Queen of Russian. And I am married to the Grammar King of English. | I've lost five pounds! I can't even believe it! I haven't really been "trying" per se, mostly just changing my food habits a bit. I have a tendency to eat and eat and eat, and I have been cutting myself off lately, so YAY!
Have a good weekend, everyone!

| I feel like I might be losing a friend because of another friend. This is such a hard situation to explain. It's making me really sad though. Please send some prayers my way. Thanks.

| I put up some of the NYC pics on our site...I took four hundred (most of which were great) but I only put up ten or so of the ones I really liked.
Hope all is well with you guys!

| So, lots going on that I would love to write about, but...I'm so excited about something else.
My cousin, Amanda, is coming up tomorrow from Texas and on Saturday we are going to NYC for two days! YAY! I can't even believe it! We are so excited! And Joshua finally decided to come, so that makes it like five million times better! Our hotel is right in the middle of everything and that will make things very convenient! Oh geez I am so excited!!!!! I started a scrapbook already of the trip- just cut out the pages, but I am just so stinking excited! And Joshua has never seen NYC so it will be an even newer experience for him! Okay, I'm pretty sure I could sit here and freak out FOREVER, but I won't bore you.
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and I hope you all did, too!

| Merry Christmas!
I am awake...at three am on Christmas. This is a first. Usually I am eagerly awaiting the morning. But we are at home this year, and I am cleaning my office for visitors we have coming. It looks great, just needs a couple of things hung and a bit of dusting. Oh, and the floor needs to be swept. Badly. Anyway, I guess I got some sort of adrenaline rush cleaning, but I feel wide awake. I haven't even had any caffeine today. I did have a piece of brownie a couple of hours ago. Yum.
Tomorrow we are going to clean the house a bunch and then possibly go to dinner and a movie. This could be my most unconventional Christmas ever. I am also considering taking down all of the Christmas stuff and packing it up. I dunno yet though. Maybe I will wait until the 1st. That's what I normally do.
Hmm...somehow in the last five minutes the sleepiness has caught up with me! So, I'm off to bed.
Merry Christmas to you all.
So...I cleaned my room. It looks great! I love having a clean house, and even when I tidy things up, it feels really good to have everything CLEAN. Anyway, I think I am going to clean [part-Joshua gets to do the bathtub] of the bathroom and then sweep and dust our bedroom and the upstairs will be finished. Downstairs, we just need to tidy up the half bath, sweep, take out the trash, and vaccuum. Should go quickly. I might even hold off on the vaccuum until tomorrow. We'll see. Either way,
Merry Christmas again!
